Ninja Garden - A 2D Game

I developed "Ninja Garden" after my first term at Guildhall. The goal was to implement a well-balanced core combat system, providing fast-paced, short game play moments. The game features:

  • Drop-in two player co-op or vs. play
  • Slow motion fatalities
  • In-game level editor

 

I reused some of the environmental art from Tumbling Temple that Mike Aviles produced, but I created all of the character art assets and animations myself, which is why they are rather rudimentary. The project, including refactoring my 2D engine, took one week.
